FEATURE BLOG IN NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC VOICES (2015)

The American Prairie Reserve is on the edge of conservation. It's an ambitious vision to create the largest protected area in the continental US - a vibrant oasis for burrowing owls, pronghorn antelope, and wild bison.

I volunteered on the front lines on the American Prairie Reserve with citizen science organization, Adventure Scientists. National Geographic featured a blog post I wrote about my time on the prairie as part of their Voices series.  You can read the full piece here.
